The Words We Choose Matter

This is my favorite meditation, it covers everything I want to remember in order to maintain my of joy, fulfillment and peace of mind. Yes, our minds need ongoing maintenance. I listen to it every morning in bed as soon as I wake up.

I created a transcript so I can pick out specific phrases that I want to focus on during the day.

 Living words. We begin by becoming aware of something so familiar that it is often overlooked. Words. The words we speak aloud, the words we whisper to ourselves, the words we repeat through attention, expectation, and belief. Every day, we are giving life to something through the language of our consciousness.

As we enter this time of prayer, we remember that words are more than sounds. They are carriers of meaning, intention, and possibility. The words we hold in faith shape the way we experience the world. The words we speak in prayer align us with deeper truth. Together, we enter the silence beneath all words and reconnect with the source from which every true word arises.

In this sacred awareness, we rest.

Peace speaks gently within me. As my attention settles into the presence of God, a deep sense of peace begins to expand within my awareness. Peace is the steady foundation beneath every circumstance and every season of life. It invites me to release my attention from distraction and place it upon what is eternally true I allow peaceful thoughts to fill my mind and peaceful feelings to fill my heart.

The power of faith strengthens my trust in the goodness of life, and the power of strength keeps me centered in that trust. I experience myself as calm, grounded, and secure in divine order. Peace becomes the atmosphere of my awareness, and from that awareness, I meet this day with grace

Wisdom reveals what is mine to know. Within every person lives a divine capacity to know, discern, and understand. Wisdom is not distant from me. It rises naturally from the presence of God expressing within my own soul. As I become still, I become receptive. Ideas emerge, understanding unfolds. What once seemed complicated begins to arrange itself into greater harmony and meaning.

The power of wisdom illumines my path. The power of understanding deepens my awareness. Together, they guide me toward right action and clear perception. I trust the wisdom moving within me, and I welcome its guidance with an open heart

Life expresses fully through me. The life of God is vibrant, creative, and ever renewing. It moves through every cell of my body, every thought in my mind, and every possibility waiting to unfold in my experience. I honor this sacred life within me. I appreciate the gift of being alive and participating in the ongoing creation of good.

Through the power of life, I am renewed. Through the power of zeal, I am energized with enthusiasm for the opportunities before me. I allow divine life to express as vitality, joy, creativity, and purpose. I welcome the fullness of life that is seeking expression through me today

Divine order brings my good into expression There is an intelligence woven throughout creation that can be seen in the changing seasons, the movement of the stars, and the unfolding patterns of life itself. That same divine intelligence is active within me. As I focus my attention on God, I become more aware of the order that supports every aspect of my life.

The power of order helps me organize my thoughts around truth. The power of will enables me to align my choices with the highest vision for my life. I trust the divine pattern unfolding through every experience. I trust the timing of life. I trust that every step forward reveals new opportunities for growth, expression, and fulfillment.

The light within me blesses the world. The light of spirit shines within every person. It illuminates understanding, inspires compassion, and reveals the sacred nature of life itself. As I recognize this light within myself, I also recognize it within others. The power of love opens my heart to a deeper awareness of our shared humanity.

The power of imagination allows me to envision a world shaped by kindness, wisdom, peace, and cooperation. Every prayer contributes to that vision. Every blessing strengthens that vision. Every loving thought adds light to the world. I allow the light of truth to shine through my words, my actions, and my presence

As our prayer time draws to a close, we carry this awareness with us. The words we choose matter. The thoughts we nurture matter. The consciousness we cultivate matters. When our words are rooted in peace, wisdom, life, order, and love, they become instruments through which Spirit expresses. Today, we speak words that strengthen faith, encourage healing, inspire possibility, and affirm the goodness of life.

We allow our words to become living expressions of truth, and we trust that what is spoken in faith bears fruit in its own perfect way. Together, we affirm: The light of God surrounds us. The love of God enfolds us. The power of God protects us. The presence of God watches over us. Wherever we are, God is.
