Lesson One of The Perfect Power Within You by Jack and Cornelia Addington, contains "the key to remaking your life":

### Your Mind Controls Your Life And You Control Your Mind

> YOUR MIND IS THE CENTER OF YOUR LIFE. The life of circumstances, conditions, possessions, friends, the body which you use, business success-all are created through our thinking. **Your mind controls your life and YOU control your mind.**

### Think only Positive Thoughts

> This is the reason that **it is imperative that you think only positive, affirmative, loving, creative, constructive, and right thoughts.** That is the reason that with each lesson you are given a Statement of Truth for each day and why it is necessary for your development that you restate these statements over and over until they neutralize all of the destructive, false, erroneous, critical, and negative thoughts that have been allowed to make a home in your mind for lo! these many years.

You are an inlet and an outlet for Universal Mind Power. The Addingtons advise that you think of yourself as being one with it and it being one with you. In other words, **you are Universal Mind Power, being Universal Mind Power at your point of use**.

They go on to say that when someone asked Jesus where the kingdom of God was. He replied, *The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, Lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.*

### *There is a Perfect Power Within You*

> The power of the mind to think, to remember, to create, to visualize, to exist eternally, to guide and direct your life is the Power that is Perfect, and this Power is right within you.

**Isn't that great news!**
